Jathi Ratnalu collected around about $1 million in the USA and is the Telugu film to achieve this feat in 2021. Now, Love Story has grossed over $1 million and has emerged as the highest grossing Telugu film of the year.
Despite the relatively okayish reviews, Love Story is pulling the audience to the theatres in big numbers and is proving a much needed breather to Tollywood in the USA.
Love Story’s excellent performance at the US box office is giving new hopes to other Telugu films which are lining up for release in the overseas market.
The makers had recently claimed that Love Story grossed over Rs 50 crores worldwide in the first weekend itself.
