Popular actress Ileana Dcruz has been introduced to Telugu with Ram starrer Devadasu. She rose to fame with Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri and became a top heroine in Tollywood within a very short time.
The 34-year-old diva has now made some interesting comments on the casting couch issue. She said that one has to fulfil the sexual favour of filmmakers in order to get movie chances.
“Most importantly, new heroines come to the industry with many dreams, but they have to give a nod for producers’ physical needs to get an opportunity,” she said. Ileana’s comments made it clear that the casting couch exists in the industry.
With successes like Jalsa, Kick and Julayi, Ileana went to Bollywood when she was once a star heroine in Telugu. After going there, her career graph declined gradually. Despite a couple of successes, Ileana was ignored by Bollywood producers.
