Telangana Chief Minister KCR recently met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed various issues, but sources close to them said that no politics were involved in their discussion. In the meeting that lasted for 30min, KCR is said to have talked to Modi about 10 different issues and is also said to have submitted 10 different letters on the same, which have been released to the media.
One of these issues is that KCR asked the PM to increase the number of IPS officers in the state as there has been a severe scarcity in the state, in the number of IPS officers, after the number of districts has been increased. The CM is also said to have asked the PM to sanction Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to the state, as Telangana is at the top in the Ease Of Doing Business area. KCR is also said to have asked the PM to sanction Rs. 1000 Crores to Telangana, for the setting up of Tribal University, IIM and IITs in the state, as per the Andhra Pradesh Partition Act.
Given that the political arena in the country is fully heated at the moment, due to the shifting loyalties and the teaming up of opposition parties against the BJP at the centre, KCR too will have to join someone. Now that the BJP is trying to make a mark in Telangana, it is highly impossible that politics hasn’t come up between them.
