It is known news that Enforcement Directorate is currently investigating the Tollywood drug case, which was busted in 2017. Now, it is heard that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is likely to look into the Tollywood drugs case after the Enforcement Directorate. Information is that the NCB intends to question again all those facing drug charges in Tollywood.
Meanwhile, the ED authorities questioned actress-producer Charmee Kaur as part of the second day of trial in the drugs case. Speaking to the media after the trial, Charmee said she had handed over key documents to the authorities. She said she would co-operate in all ways with the officials in the investigation.
During the interrogation, the investigation team examined the transactions of two bank accounts belonging to her. The officials, who showed the WhatsApp chat to Charmee, questioned the transactions of lakhs of rupees transferred in Dada’s name. The actress, however, told ED officials that she did not know who Kelvin was.
Meanwhile, actress Rakul Preet Singh appeared before the ED in Hyderabad on Friday after being summoned in connection with a high-end drugs racket.
