Veteran England pacer James Anderson once again showed his dedication to the game on Thursday (September 2) in the fourth Test against India.
Jimmy, who was bowling 42nd over in the innings on the first day of the game, appeared with a bleeding knee. During the 40th over of innings, the ace blower slipped during his run-up and hurt his knee in the process.
However, rather than asking another bowler to finish his over, the 39-year-old pacer not only completed his over but also kept on bowling without undergoing treatment.
Fans noticed the legendary cricketer was bleeding when the camera focused on his trousers, where stains of blood were clearly visible.
India, meanwhile, lost the toss and opted to bat first at the invitation of their opponents. Kohli (50) and Shardul Thakur (57) were the major contributors to Team India’s score.
