Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Acharya’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film, which is in production for a long time now, is on the verge of completion. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film needs to complete two more songs. Although there is speculation that the flick will hit the big screens for Sankranti 2022, the makers have given no clarification yet.
On Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming films — Godfather, Meher Ramesh directorial and Bobby’s film — have treated fans with many updates. But the crucial update regarding Acharya’s release was missing.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release to watch it on silver screens. But as most of the biggies have already locked their release dates, it seems like the Megastar starrer doesn’t have so many options.
Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to play the leading lady. The film also stars Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in key roles while Sonu Sood and Jisshu Sengupta will also be seen in pivotal roles.
Niranjan Reddy and Ram Charan are bankrolling the project under Matinee Entertainment in association with Konidela Production Company.
