Kollywood star Karthi’s acclaimed Tamil drama, Madras, which was released in 2014, is now all set to have its Telugu release in September. The makers of the film today unveiled the Telugu poster announcing that it will hit the big screens next month.
Madras, directed by Pa Ranjith, starred Karthi and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. It ended up as a blockbuster film.
As the title suggests, the movie narrated the lives of people hailing from North Chennai. With a wall as a struggle, Madras centred on the politics, friendship, betrayal and the sustenance of people living in North Chennai. The film also featured Kalaiyarasan, Charles Vinoth, Riythvika, Mime Gopi and Pavel Navageethan in supporting roles.
Produced by Studio Green, the film’s music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The technical crew includes editor Praveen KL and cinematographer Murali G.
