After winning four MP seats in Telangana, BJP is pinning high hopes on the state, anticipating that it is the sign of the downfall of TRS in the state.
On the other side, Congress being the main opposition party, won three MP seats, which made it anticipate big in the municipal polls. But all such dreams have been scrapped with the Article 370 abolition in Jammu and Kashmir.

As the situation of the Hand party is already worse in Telangana, the latest development has further worsened its chances. So the people, who are unhappy with TRS and Congress, are now left with the only choice of picking up BJP. The Lotus Party is anticipating the same, and is moving the coins accordingly.
