In TDP’s regime, Chandrababu Naidu was highly focused on developing Amaravati capital city, which he felt would be helpful for inviting the investments to the state.
But after TDP stepped down from the government and YSRCP was able to win it with a huge mandate, the new government has completely neglected the capital city construction.
On the flip side, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also admitted the fact that the lack of a big city like Hyderabad has turned as a disadvantage to attract the investments to the state.
But in the recent meeting, where he addressed the Diplomatic Outreach event in Vijayawada, Jagan made a few interesting comments on the advantages AP has. Diplomats from various countries were part of the event.
The young CM mainly highlighted the long coastline, where there is a possibility for the setting up of several industries. But the simple logic, Jagan is ignoring is the investors and industrialists ask for nearest cities and airports etc., for the convenience. But there is no such possibility around the AP central coast.
So, the only way for Jagan to invite the investments is to resume Amaravati works, which he is strictly against, right from the beginning as he is unwilling to share the credit with the previous government TDP.
