In an interesting development of sorts, Kathi Karthika who was seen in the inaugural season of Bigg Boss Telugu has joined in Telangana Congress.
Karthika met with Telangana Congress senior leader Madhu Yashki earlier today and discussed her intention to join the party. She was then formally invited to join in the party by the senior leader.
Karthika is the granddaughter of TRS bigwig Padma Rao Goud but she didn’t evince interest in joining the KCR-led party for reasons best known to her.
Karthik met with Congress hierarchy today and upon their invitation, she joined the party.
Previously, Karthika contested from Dubbak assembly constituency in the by-elections but she could not carve a name for herself and ended up losing deposit.
Karthika intends to become a proactive leader for Congress and build a political career. Will she be successful in her attempts? We will know the answer sooner or later.
