Covid-19: Dimple Hayathi worried about extended family’s condition

Many members from the film fraternity have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. While many recovered from the infection, a few succumbed to the virus.

Now, actress Dimple Hayathi grandfather’s whole family in Chennai tested positive for COVID-19. She is worried about her grandfather as he is in ICU. The actress was shooting for a recently launched Tamil film. After hearing the news about her family, she hurried to Hyderabad on Monday.

The actress said, “Ours is a big joint family in Chennai, and all the 10 members have contracted the virus.” She added they are trying to cope with the stress and rally around for support. “It’s been physically and mentally draining over the last one week, and the situation out there is terrifying,” she said

Dimple Hayathi has been roped in to play the female lead in Vishal’s next film will be directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan. Tentatively titled #Vishal31, the film went on floors recently.
