Though TRS party was elected for the second time in the assembly elections last year, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is taking his sweet time for the cabinet expansion.
After the victory in the assembly elections, KCR led the cabinet with only two members, along with him, for around three months. He later inducted few more people into his cabinet. Much to the shock, he kept his son KTR and also the senior leader like Harish Rao, away from the cabinet.
While KTR was awarded the working president post of TRS, Harish Rao was left alone with no such posts, except the MLA post which he achieved with a thumping majority from Siddipet constituency.
Finally, KCR is now planning to expand the cabinet, with four new members. KTR, Harish Rao, Tummala Nageshwara Rao, and Sabitha Indra Reddy are likely to be inducted. The expansion is likely to be held on August 6th.

With this, KCR is trying to put an end to the rumored disturbances between him and Harish Rao. As the latter has gained a lot of sympathizers with KCR’s alleged negligence, the TS CM is not happy with it, which is what made him to pick Harish Rao into his cabinet.
