Rana Daggubati, who is undergoing the treatment at a private hospital in Chicago, USA, has got a kidney transplant recently.
For the magnum opus Baahubali, Rana was seen in a well built body. To earn it, the Daggubati star had to do some heavy workouts, due to which the Sodium levels in his body, got altered. Since then, he has been suffering from kidney-related issues. While he underwent a basic treatment in India, for which there was no big change, he had to then get examined by the USA doctors.
The doctors confirmed that the Baahubali star underwent a kidney transplant, for which his mother Lakshmi Daggubati has donated her kidney. The doctors further added that Rana will be taking rest for over two months and only then he will be able to participate in the movie shootings.

Rana has Virata Parvam in hand, in which Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead and Venu Udugula, who earlier handled Needi Naadi Oke Katha, is directing it. Along with it, the Daggubati star also have a few other good projects in Kollywood and Bollywood too, which may further get delayed as Rana will be able to complete his part in such films only after he gets recovered.
