SS Rajamouli‘s upcoming film ‘RRR’ has created a great deal of buzz among fans. We know RRR is doing a record number of business with theatrical and non-theatrical deals. We already reported that the magnum opus has closed theatrical business in all areas with deals like never before.
However, the makers have not yet closed the non-theatrical business (satellite rights, OTT rights, and other digital rights) as they are expecting a good deal lately. As per reports, Gemini, Star MAA, Amazon, Zee Group and Netflix have quoted big to bag this biggie.
The latest we hear is a popular Bollywood producer-distributor has now offered an enormous price to bag the entire OTT rights, satellite rights of all languages and Hindi theatrical rights.
The producer feels the RRR craze among the Hindi audience can bring him a good fortune as the entire Hindi market is dropped because of the COVID-19 crisis. It remains to be whether the RRR team inks a deal with the Bollywood producer or not.
Produced by Danayya, RRR boasts an ensemble cast including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The film will hit the big screens on October 13.
