MLA and APIIC chairperson RK Roja have undergone two major surgeries at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Her husband Selvamani said that Roja is recovering now. He released an audiotape regarding her health update.
Roja was shifted from the ICU to the ward on Monday. Currently, the Nagari MLA‘s health condition stable and she is kept under observation for two weeks.
Selvamani said the surgeries were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic last year and polls in AP. Roja had been busy for the last three months with the Panchayat elections in February and municipal elections in March.
After she got freed from the polls, Roja underwent surgery at a private hospital in Chennai. As per reports, Doctors said that no one including her family members may visit her Roja due to the coronavirus infection.
