Jana Sena founder and chief Pawan Kalyan has always said that Martial Arts are very important for a person to learn from a young age, as they promote emotional and physical wellbeing.
Martial arts are widely learnt all over the world and extensively learnt in several Asian countries. Many conventional martial art forms are also available to learn in India, but not many people are learning martial arts in our country.
Recognising his efforts towards helping people learn martial arts, Pawan Kalyan felicitated Prabhakar Reddy, a martial arts trainer from Nellore, who is also a Guinness Book record holder. Pawan Kalyan also gave a Rs. 1 Lakh check to Prabhakar, on behalf of the ‘Pawan Kalyan Learning Center for Excellence’.
Pawan Kalyan said that he came to know about Prabhakar Reddy when he was searching for trainers all over India, in the Wing Chun martial art form. Pawan also appreciated Prabhakar for setting up a centre and training people in Prabhakar’s native, despite the fact that Prabhakar got trained in many countries and holds many records.
Prabhakar said that he got trained in 29 martial art forms, and that he has learnt martial arts from China, Thailand, Malaysia and Srilanka, and that he even got trained at the Shaolin Temple in China. He thanked Pawan Kalyan for recognising him and for felicitating and offering him financial assistance.
