Before the covid vaccine is being introduced to the general public two phases has occurred as an emergency use. Later many VIPs and celebs from different industries like Aviation ministry, politics, film, cricket etc have also shown interest to get the jab.
Few states in the nation are registering a rise in Covid-19 infections, however 24 states and union territories did not report any new fatality due to the virus infection. The world’s massive vaccination drive, which commenced on January 16 has cumulatively immunised over 1.63 crore people, as of March 3. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his parents received the first dose of the #COVID19 vaccine at LNJP hospital. While Jammu and Kashmir: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha too got his first dose of the #COVID19 vaccine, at Government Medical College and hospital in Jammu.
Since March 1st, beneficiaries above 60 years of age and those above 45 years with comorbidities have been getting vaccinated.
