The Telugu Desam party‘s politburo leader Arvind Kumar Goud recently announced Muvva Arun Kumar as the TDP candidate in the Nagarjuna Sagar by-election.
Arun Kumar has been with the party since 1985 and has been serving as a free lawyer and as an advocate. He said the TDP would also contest in the graduate MLC elections, too. This made the competition in Nagarjuna Sagar more interesting.
Nomula Narsimhayya of the TRS won the last election against Janareddy. Now, Janareddy is ready to compete again.
The BJP does not have a strong candidate to contest from Nagarjuna Sagar. The BJP is planning to give tickets to those coming from other parties. TDP is trying hard to compete with TRS.
