The Election Commission has directed the Krishna District SP to register a case against Minister Kodali Nani. The SEC said in the order that a case should be registered under sections 504, 505(1)(C), 506 of the IPC for violating the Election Code. SEC ordered to register a case under Clause-1, Clause-4 for violating the Election Code. The State Election Commission has clarified that action should be taken on Kodali Nani in the wake of objectionable remarks made by him against the Election Commission.
Moreover, the allegations and criticisms made by Kodali Nani at the press meet were taken seriously by the SEC as he did not withdraw them. Kodali Nani made derogatory remarks against SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar.
