Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 1 was released on December 21, 2018, and took the nation by storm. Produced by Hombale Films, the flick was dubbed in four languages and became a blockbuster hit across the country.
The makers of KGF did not anticipate the gigantic box office numbers that the film managed to amass at the box office. After the big success, the expectations on the second chapter reached sky high and the recently released teaser is proof of this.
The latest we hear is the satellite rights of KGF Chapter-2 from all languages might fetch a sensational 100Cr. It is expected that the non-theatrical business itself will cross 160 Cr mark. It is known that the digital rights of the film are bagged by Amazon Prime Video for Rs 55 Crore.
The film, which is in the post-production stage, is all set to hit the theatres on July 16 worldwide. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Malavika Avinash in the lead roles.
