Bhuma Akhila Priya was recently arrested by the Hyderabad Police, in relation to the Bowenpally kidnap, where Praveen Rao was kidnapped along with his brothers. Praveen Rao happens to be a very close relative of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, because of which the incident has gained a lot of fuel.
Akhila Priya has been released from Police custody just today, and she is said to have referred to all the Policemen as ‘Anna’ (brother), when she was still in custody. Akhila is said to have remained silent throughout her interrogation, until and unless a solid evidence of her involvement was produced. She is said to have strongly advocated non-involvement in the kidnapping, and is also reported to have said that she has been involved in all of thai for political reasons.
Akhila is currently pregnant, and has been tested for Coronavirus, in which she tested negative. She is also said to have been taken to Gandhi Hospital, where several tests were conducted for her. She was then taken to a Lawyer’s house in Marredpally, and then back to the Chanchalguda jail.
It is expected that Akhila might be given bail with some strict conditions. The bail is being provided in the first place because of her pregnancy.
