Pastor Praveen Kumar is making quite the headlines, following his arrest by the Andhra Pradesh Police, for making derogatory comments against the Hindu religion and Hindu Gods, on his YouTube channel. Recently, Praveen has also said that he is the one who is responsible for the disfiguring of several Hindu God idols in AP.
Praveen hails from a middle class family, but right now, his assets mount to over a 1000 Crores. praveen gets a lot of funding from foreign missionaries, for converting people to Christianity. How these funds reach him, and how much he is paid is something of a mystery. Several recordings of Praveen confessing to his deeds, and confessing to wanting to make Christian villages have come into the possession of the Police as well.
Praveen runs a lot of schools in AP, including schools for the blind and other physically challenged people. Interestingly though, blind people do not study in his school for the blind. All of his schools are spread over acres and acres of lands. Praveen is also close to Brother Anil Kumar and several other members of the YSRCP, who hail from Pithapuram.
The AP DGP had previously said that there was no political agenda behind the demolishing of Hindu Gods and temples, but just a few days later, cases were filed against several members sof the TDP and BJP, saying that they were responsible for the deeds. It is now being said that this was done in order to protect Praveen, and to make sure that information of him demolishing these idols would not get out.
