Christian leaders have unexpectedly shocked Telugu Desam party leader and state opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu. Christian cell presidents of 13 districts have resigned en masse.
TDP Christian Cell state president Praveen made a sensational statement to this effect. It seems that they have taken this decision in the wake of the remarks made by TDP chief Chandrababu towards Christianity.
However, he said the remarks made by Chandrababu Naidu on the 5th of this month hurt him deeply. He said that Chandrababu spoke in a way that insulted the entire Christian community.
They demanded an answer as to why such remarks were made against Christians. Protesting Chandrababu’s remarks, TDP Christian Cell representatives from 13 districts announced their resignation from the party en masse.
