Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ makers had faced few obstacles even post unlocking phase. When the last leg of the shoot was leftover in Chandigarh, it was ground to halt due to recent farmers’ protest in the city. Movie buffs thought it would take a lot of time for the film to complete the shoot. Nevertheless, the makers seem to be undeterred and finished the schedule much earlier surprisingly.
The news of the final wrap of this much anticipated Bollywood project seem to have excited the fans as much it did the actor.
Shahid posted a heart felt note on this ocassion to share his delight and gratitude towards the supporting cast and all the film unit. The excerpt of it read, “It’s a film wrap on #jersey …47 days of shoot during covid. Just unbelievable. I am so proud of the entire team. It’s nothing short of a miracle. I want to thank each and every one from the unit for coming to set every day, putting themselves at risk and doing what we all love doing.
He added that Jersey is a story that touches our hearts while featuring the triumph of an indomitable spirit. He correlated this feeling with the ongoing pandemic situation and extended his happiness for having best filmmaking experience.
