Andhra Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party President, Somu Veerraju gave a highly outstanding and amazing offer to the people of Andhra Pradesh, and to the Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as well. Somu said that the BJP would finish the construction and completion of Amaravati as a Capital with a budget of Rs. 5,000 Crores, if the BJP came to power in the next elections.
Considering that the YSRCP has no interest whatsoever, in completing the construction, and establishing Amaravati as the sole capital of AP, this is indeed an extraordinary offer for the Jagan government.
Despite several people telling the YSRCP government numerous times that it’s okay to spend whatever amount is required to make it a substantial capital, the YSRCP government has been giving the same answer – that it is ridiculous to spend lots of money on just one place, as the rest of the state would then not be developed at all.
With even the Polavaram project being funded by the Central Government, as it has been made a nationalised project, many are wondering about the real difficulty the YSRCP has, in investing money in Amaravati, and making it the capital that was promised to the people of the state. If maybe the government fails to wake up even now, then it would be a great win for the BJP, if it keeps up its promise of making Amaravati the capital of AP.
