Bellamkonda Srinivas will be making his debut into Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Prabhas’s blockbuster film, Chatrapathi which released back in 2005.

Chatrapathi remake was officially announced recently and star director, VV Vinayak will be at the helm for the project.

When asked about playing male lead in Chatrapathi remake, Bellamkonda Srinivas said, “I am not nervous about reprising Prabhas’s role in Chatrapathi remake, infact I am not nervous about the project as a whole. I am very much looking forward to acting in it,” he said.

The young actor went on to say that 6 of his 7 films had clocked over 200 million views(Hindi dubbed versions) on YouTube and he feels lucky to have developed a market in Bollywood.

“The script is being modified to suit the sensibilities of modern day audiences. We are giving it a new tone and altering the basic set-up,” he added.

This exciting project will be hitting the floors from early next year.
