After Telangana Chief Minister KCR has completed Kaleshwaram project in the state, which was considered as one of the prestigious works, now even Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to concentrate on a prestigious project like Polavaram in AP.
As the project has got a national status, the BJP government is bound to release funds. The Centre has released minimal funds to the project, with which the ex-government TDP managed to do, what all it can do over the years.

YSRCP as an opposition party in the past, has blamed TDP for allegedly producing fake progress reports about the project. Adding to it, Jagan as an opposition leader, never visited the Polavaram site.
Now, after forming the government, Jagan has no other option other than moving forward with Polavaram. The young CM is all set to visit the site tomorrow and will spend a quality time discussing about the progress and also reviews the work, with the engineers and contractors of the project.

As Jagan has good relations with Modi, unlike Naidu, it should be seen whether the new government will be successful in taking forward the works of Polavaram and strive for its completion.
