Rapaka Varaprasad, the only MLA of Janasena Party has apologized YSRCP leaders in the assembly meeting today.
Several times in the past, it was rumored that Rapaka would shift to YSRCP. But the MLA denied such rumors and has clearly stated that he is going to stay back in Janasena itself. As being the only MLA of the new party in the assembly, his every action over there, has acquired quite significance.

Referring to special category status, Rapaka said that as YSRCP is an ally of the BJP, it would be better if the state government convinces the Centre for the special status soon.
Objecting the statements, YSRCP Chief Whip Srikanth Reddy said that it’s not fair on the part of him to link YSRCP with BJP.
“Everyone is aware of the secret alliance between TDP and Janasena during the elections. Even BJP is a close associate of both the parties. Jagan is stressing on special status whenever he met Modi and will continue doing it”, Srikanth Reddy said.
