The one reason of why Telangana Chief Minister KCR did not induct KTR into his cabinet, because, the TS CM, has planned to announce his son as the new CM of Telangana, if at all KCR gets a considerable position in Delhi.
KCR has planned to bring third front and he vigorously fought for it during the elections. But as the idea has got no great response and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reelected with a thumping majority across the country, left with no option, the TS CM had to give up on the idea of third front for now.

But though he still has a chance to offer the CM post to KTR, the TRS party insiders are expecting that it would result into a huge criticism from Harish Rao and his supporters.
Harish enjoys a massive craze among the Telangana people.
The majority with which he won in Siddipet constituency in assembly elections, is bigger than any of the TRS leaders who won in their respective constituencies. So if at all KCR ignores Harish Rao and picks KTR as the Chief Minister, the Siddipet MLA may shift to BJP.

As BJP has proved its existence in the recent Lok Sabha elections, if at all, Harish Rao jumps into the national party, it is expected to pick up in no time and emerge as a strong competitor to TRS in Telangana state. So, will KCR risk it with Harish Rao or offer him a big position in the party, is to be seen.
