The corona is spreading at a faster pace in the Yadadri. Within two days, a total of 68 people tested positive for coronavirus. Yesterday, 38 cases were reported at Yadadri. Of these, 30 are temple employees, while the remaining 6 are family members of temple employees, and two others are journalists.
Corona tests were performed on 86 priests and staff on duty at the entire temple, with this 38 positive cases were registered on Sunday. Recently, a large number of devotees participated in the Bramhothsavam at the Yadadri Temple.
Temple officials believe that most of the temple staff may have been infected with the corona during this occasion. On the other hand, as the staff and priests of the temple were diagnosed with corona positive, there was concern among the devotees. With this, the authorities decided to suspend Swami darshan and sevas from Sunday. However, EO Geeta Reddy said that devotees will be allowed to have darshan of the lord.
