Hackers gave a shock to the leading telecom company, Airtel. The details of around 25 lakh users have been hacked.
Hackers have hacked the telephone numbers along with personal details such as addresses, city, Aadhaar card number, and gender details of those currently using Airtel SIM cards.
Internet security researcher Rajsekhar Rajaharya revealed that “Hackers claim that they have the details of all Airtel customers in India and want to sell their data.”
The hackers allegedly blackmailed Airtel security teams and tried to extort $ 3,500 worth of bitcoins. Hackers said that if Airtel fails to do so, they will put this data for sale. It is learned that most of the hacked data is from Jammu & Kashmir.
