A shocking incident of 13 people getting injured in a cylinder blast in Hyderabad was reported today morning. The incident took place at Balaji temple, Mir Chowk police station area at Patha Basthi in the wee hours on Thursday. A sudden cylinder blast at a residence had spread out fire in the surrounding areas. All injured were rushed to nearest government hospitals for cure.
The 13 injured individuals are reportedly from West Bengal. They were known to be working in a local hotel at Mir Chowk police station area in Hyderabad. It is learnt that the locals were woken up by the thunderous noise of the explosion followed by shrills and cries from the residents.
Among the 13, one patient’s condition is critical. In the video police officials were seen aiding the victims and making them to get into the ambulance for their treatment. Ex-corporator Pathergatti Mohsin Balala reached the location with the party volunteers and aided in rescue operations in shifting the injured to hospital.
A case has filed by the police to investigate the real reason behind the blasts as it involved some illegal usage. Police suspect that the migrant residents who had a gold workshop might have used combustible chemicals.
