It is learned that the Andhra Pradesh Government has appointed a new governing body for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Leaders and MLAs of the ruling YSR Congress Party have secured seats in the TTD. Needless to say, becoming a TTD trust board member is the dream of many leaders. Many people consider themselves lucky to be the TTD board member. But an MLA from the ruling party has denied taking the post in the TTD board.
As per reports, Payakaraopeta MLA Golla Baburao (Visakhapatnam District) has given a jolt to the party leaders. At a time when he was hoping to become a minister, Baburao was deeply dissatisfied with his appointment as a member of the TTD Trust Board.
MP VijayaSai Reddy, who learned this development, phoned the MLA and got an answer, “I don’t need a TTD post.” Besides refusing to take the post, Baburao has also switched off the phone and cut off the communication with the YSRCP leaders.
