While TDP has become extremely active on the social media to counter the ruling party leaders with the hashtag trends, even YSRCP is able to counter the opposition party, with its kind of sharp replies.
Recently, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu posted a picture, in which Asha Workers were seen protesting against the government. While the picture was actually related to the protest against the TRS government in Telangana, that too in 2015, Naidu tried to pretend it as a protest against the YSRCP government and thus tried to blame Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for it.
But the YSRCP social media activists, jumped into the action to prove the reality behind the picture, by posting all the facts. Left with red-faced, Naidu had to delete the post later.
Now one more time, the TDP had to face one such embarrassing situation. It posted a video, in which a few people were explaining about the flood situation in AP and criticizing the government for it.
But the YSRCP exposed them, by posting the election campaigning video of TDP, in which the man and the woman who spoke in the flood video, was promoting TDP. So the ruling party activists were successful in proving that they are paid artists, who are criticizing the government, upon the instructions of the opposition party.
In an era of social media, it is extremely tough to manipulate the things, as the internet savvy would jump into the action to prove genuity in such posts. So it would be better, if the TDP think twice before making any posts on the social media. Otherwise, the things would soon turn bitter quite early.
