YSRCP is so confident of forming the government this time, that the party even set up a countdown digital clock at their party headquarters in Amaravathi, that displays “Bye Bye Babu”, “Ravali Jagan, Kavali Jagan” on it and also a timer, indicating the number of days and hours left for Jagan to occupy the CM’s chair.
It is common that every political leader will induce a feeling of their party’s victory among the public, irrespective of their own confidence levels. But setting up the countdown clocks like this will only result into a laughing stock at the end, if at all the said party do not form the government.
Getting into the detail, there is no clean road for YSRCP in the AP elections as TDP and Janasena are equally the top contenders and it is highly tough to estimate, which party will form the government this time.
Political parties like TRS is extremely strong in Telangana and no other parties are even nearer to its craze. In such situations, the countdown clocks like the one YSRCP set up, could have worked for TRS, as the public is equally aware of the its victory, even before the announcement of the results.
Anyway, it should be seen, whether YSRCP’s over confidence would soon take the shape of just confidence, after the results.
