YS Sharmila, sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, officially launched her party, YSRTP, in Telangana, last month. Since the first day, Sharmila said that she is fighting against Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s aristocratic rule, and his inability to deliver justice to the unemployed and weaker sections of the society.
Today, Sharmila fired at KCR once again, saying that the CM hasn’t been able to do justice to the unemployed and farmers in the seven years of his rule, which is resulting in their suicides. She said that the rate of unemployment has increased by four times in the state since KCR became the CM. She also said that KCR is the least bit bothered about filling the empty job vacancies.
Sharmila said that the only people benefiting from KCR’s rule is his family and no one else in the state. She said that KCR is the only CM who is openly stating that the Dalit Bandhu scheme is for the elections. She questioned why by-elections have come up in Huzurabad, and asked if they were for the people, or for the TRS to prove their strength. Sharmila said that no party cares about the Dalits and that the community is being used for political advantages. She said that the community to rise up to these politicians and question them, and make them resign their posts. She said that Dalit lands are being snatched and sold for Rs. 1 lakh crore, where the CM is giving them only Rs. 10 Lakhs in return. She said that it is high time that KCR is put in his place, and his rule ends.
