Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought unwanted attention to himself from all over the country, following his letter to the Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde. In his letter, Jagan criticised the judiciary, especially the Andhra Pradesh High Court, and future CJI NV Ramana.
Lawyers from all over the country have filed petitions against Jagan in the Supreme Court, and many others have criticised him openly. Now, in a shocking turn of events, a YS family loyalist has openly criticised Jagan for his letter to the CJI.
As is already known, Former Rajahmundry MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar is a loyalist of the YSR family, and many credit his political life to YSR. This is often why he doesn’t utter a word against Jagan, but that did not remain to be the case now. Vundavalli has lashed out against the letter to the CJI, and said that it was very irresponsible of Jagan to have written that letter, which is a direct attack against the judiciary.
Vundavalli took the example of other leaders like NT Rama Rao, who had in his time expressed that justice was not being served by the judiciary, as it was infiltrated by Reddys. However, Vundavalli said that NTR did not write any letters to the CJI, unlike Jagan, and that NTR quietly accepted the Court’s orders, and went on with it.
Vundavalli also said that the situation in the state would become chaotic if the executive and the judiciary would continue to go on with the differences. Furthermore, Vundavalli requested the CJI to live telecast the hearings of important cases taking place in the Supreme Court, so that even the common people would have an idea about it.
