TDP responded strongly on giving Rajyasabha seat to Reliance group person, Parimal Nathwani. TDP leader Devineni Uma revealed that YSRC sold Rajyasabha seat for 200 Crores to the Reliance group. He further commented that YS Jagan suspected Reliance group’s hand in YSR’s death during that time and now joined hands with them for money.
Few TDP leaders reverberated the NTR’s words of “Telugu Vari Athmagauravam” and fired on YSRC for selling it. Mixed response is being observed in the public. Some supporting YS Jagan showing the entrepreneurship record of Parimal Nathwani and few opposing YS Jagan’s choice saying that a non-Telugu candidate doesn’t know much about the state and the feelings of people to help the region in developing.
TDP leaders who are educating the people with Chaitanya Yatra are showing this aspect as a case study to the people on how the state is being sold to the corporate. We have to wait for some more time to know if Parimal Nathwani proves himself to the Telugu people.
