The former CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been trying his best to revitalize his YCP cadres. In this context, he addressed the media today and made a set of comments that grabbed the attention right away.
Jagan spoke about the “fire” that is burning inside him to develop the YSR Congress into the strongest party in all of India.
“The reason why I am in touch with the party regional coordinators and working hard to rejuvenate cadres is because of the fire burning inside of me. I want the YSR Congress to be the strongest party in all of India. I want all your energies to drive my goal and make it possible.” Jagan said.
Jagan was uncharacteristically aggressive in the media meeting today as he was seen exhibiting aggressive hand gestures and all. He appears to be pumped up despite the fact that he was stripped off the CM position and even lost the opposition leader status.
Going from 11 seats to being the strongest party in India really is an audacious plan from Jagan and there’s a lot of integral work to be done. There’s a strong complaint that Jagan ignored his own party cadres during his time as the CM and now, he has called the same cadre to go the extra mile to make his YCP the strongest party in India.
