Rain continues to spoil the much-awaited World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand. The fourth day of the test ends without a single ball being bowled.
The spectators’ hopes that the game would start on the fourth day were dashed. Southampton, the venue for this mega final, has been raining since morning and the pitch has become waterlogged and the outfield has become swampy. New Zealand is at 101/2 after 49 overs, still, trail by 116 runs.
Only 141.1 overs have been bowled in the match so far as the stormy Southampton weather remained to bedevil the inaugural edition of Test cricket’s pinnacle event.
