Private train Tejas which started its services recently, running between Lucknow and Delhi, is facing severe issues. Soon after the train took off to the tracks, the windows of few coaches were damaged. Cleanliness in the train turned into a tough job for the maintenance staff.
Adding to these troubles, the cabin crew recently expressed their situation to the media. Speaking on their daily situation, few cabin crew members stated that the passengers would take their photographs all the time and it distracts them to major extent.
As a cabin crew, they have several duties to take care of the passengers and strive for their comfortable journey. But, when their privacy was being distracted, and their individual photographs were being posted all over the social media, it is turning tough for the crew.
Apart from this situation, “Is India ready for private trains?” turned into a debate point. Private trains need to maintain high standards to get passengers attention and to make profits. In case of strikes, the train will get damaged and hence the organization should employ security guards as well for protection. All of them turn expensive.
