Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj is set to release this Sankranti, and expectations are high. Fans believe this film will continue Balayya’s blockbuster streak following Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari.
Directed by Bobby, the film has already done 70+ crore in theatrical business, sparking hopes of it entering the 100 crore share club. Currently, Balayya’s highest first-day share in Telugu states is Veera Simha Reddy with 25.35 crore, followed by Akhanda at 15.39 crore.
Bhagavanth Kesari collected 14.36 crore on its opening day, while NTR Kathanayakudu earned 7.6 crore. Other films like Ruler and NTR Mahanayakudu earned less but remain part of Balayya’s top openings.
Daaku Maharaj will hit theaters on January 13. Whether it can surpass Veera Simha Reddy’s opening and set a new record is the big question. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Balayya can break his own records this Sankranti.
