Natural Star Nani is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Ante Sundaraniki, which is all set to be released on June 10th. It recently came to light that the film’s runtime is 2 hours, 56 minutes. While films made on an epic scale usually follow this route, it is interesting to see that Nani and director Vivek Athreya have chosen this route. Recently, Rajamouli’s RRR had a lengthy runtime, but audiences were interested to see what would happen in the end.
Apart from RRR, no other film in recent times has been able to make the audience sit for a lengthy period of time, with audiences walking out of the theatres, due to the lengthy runtimes. As a result, questions regarding whether or not audiences would be interested in sitting in the theater for so long, for Ante Sundaraniki, a family entertainer, are being raised continuously.
However, given that Nani and Vivek Athreya rarely disappoint the audience, and know exactly what they are doing, and not to forget, just how confident they are about Ante Sundaraniki, it is to be assumed that the film will keep the audience interested throughout its runtime. There’s of course, also the possibility that the runtime could be cut short by the time the film is released in theatres. It is now to be seen what will happen in the end.
