Even till later last week, we had been hearing that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel would be working on Salaar and it was even rumored that this film could commence the production by this May.
But out of nowhere, we are hearing a wile rumor that Salaar 2 has been shelved and it is no longer likely to happen.
The Telugu media space has started to roll out this rumor for the time being and it has to be seen if this actually turns out to be true.
Story wise, Neel held back a lot for Salaar 2 and the audience are curious to know what happens in the second part and how it all ends. For them, the rumors about the cancelation fo the sequel could sound very bad.
We must wait for an official word from the team before drawing conclusions though.
