Dasara has opened in theaters on a grand scale today. This is the costliest project in Nani’s career and it has a lot riding on it. The film has given Nani a mass makeover and he looks almost unrecognizable in the same.
But as it turns out, Nani wasn’t always destined to do the film. It was Vijay Deverakonda who was first approached for the Dasara script, it seems.
Apparently, the director of the film, Srikanth Odela first took the script to Vijay and wanted to cast the happening young hero for the same.
But later, things changed hands and Nani eventually came on board for the film. That’s how Dasara happened for Nani and not for Vijay Deverakonda. Wonder why Vijay skipped Dasara? Only time will answer this question.
