As there is no way possible to run the schools, let alone conduct the examinations, the Universities are taking decisions accordingly. The lockdown does not support anybody going outside of their homes until April 14th.
There are high possibilities that this lockdown may extend up until May and June also according to some speculation. In these scenarios, this decision seems to be sensible.
It was supposed to be conducted on May 3rd. NEET examination is not superior to any other examination. When all examinations are postponed, there is nothing special about NEET that it must be conducted at any cost.
So, the authorities have announced the reasons for the delay and said that the exam will be conducted in the last week of May.
This too is criticized by many as May end week may not be an appropriate time for conducting an exam like this which will be applied to all cities across country and possibility of Coronavirus transmission is high with the huge numbers in which students, parents, invizilators, center staff and teachers will be vulnerable.
It will also harm the society at large due to their decision to go ahead with the examination.
