ZEE5 has reportedly bagged the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2.
Both Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2 tasted good success at the box office. And also it has been a while since they released in theatres.
Sita Ramam, which released in close proximity to these films has already arrived on OTT as it is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
However, neither Bimibisara nor Karthikeya have made their debuts on OTT till now. For some reason, ZEE5 is holding back the OTT release of these box office hits.
Usually, early OTT releases require extra payments from the OTT platforms and if that is the reason why ZEE5 is delaying Bimibisara and Karthikeya 2 OTT premieres, then we can expect these films to premiere only after at least couple more weeks.
