The controversies that are surrounding Vakeel Saab in Andhra Pradesh have gone to the next level now. The Andhra Pradesh government introduced a GO overnight, ahead of Vakeel Saab’s release, stating that there are to be no benefit or extra shows for the film and that there is to be no hike in ticket prices. This angered a lot of Pawan’s fans, who protested in front of theatres.
Now, YSRCP Minister Perni Nani has made more bold statements regarding Vakeel Saab. He said that Vakeel Saab is a rotten script, which came to Telugu after having been already made in Hindi and Tamil, by Amitabh Bachchan and Ajith, respectively.
The fact that the minister has no respect for a film that is based on issues related to women is very sad. It is to be noted that the YSRCP government has been dealing with the film with a lot of political agenda behind it. A lot of people are not able to understand why the YSRCP has to be so jealous and insecure about Vakeel Saab.
It is to be kept in mind that films and politics are different and that one should not be mixed up with the other.
