Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, along with BSP Chief Mayawati has conducted a huge political meeting in Hyderabad, that witnessed heavy crowds.
When TDP participated in Telangana Assembly elections, TRS leaders were strictly against it and asked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to stay out of the state and concentrate only on Andhra Pradesh. After facing the bitter defeat, TDP stayed away from Lok Sabha elections in Telangana and even YSRCP for the reasons unknown has not fielded any of its MP candidates in the state.
But Pawan Kalyan going against everything has fielded 7 MP candidates from his Janasena party. But neither KCR nor any of his party members spoke about it. In a pubic meeting in LB Stadium in Hyderabad, even though Pawan Kalyan went against the Telangana government and criticized it severely, none of the TRS candidates came out to criticize Pawan. Is it because, the TRS is not considering Janasena as a competition or is unwilling to give a political mileage to the new party by criticizing it? The answers are yet to be known.
Adding to it, it should be recollected that recently, KCR had to call off a political meeting which was scheduled to be held in LB Stadium, due to the lack of crowd. The CM even reportedly busted the TRS leaders, for failing to pool the public. But call it a coincidence or anything, Pawan Kalyan’s public meeting at the same venue, yesterday, has witnessed a massive crowd and there are thousands of youth, holding the placards in support of Janasena.
What does it mean? Well, the TRS followers however opined that it is very common for any film star to witness more crowd when compared to the politicians. There’s no guarantee that all who turned out to the meeting, would vote at the polling booth too.
