One of the main narratives picked up by the YCP outfit after the historic electoral mandate is the tampering of EVMs. The social media wing of the party is extensively carrying the narrative that the AP election witnessed a clear case of EVM manipulation.
However, in reality, the scene appears to be completely different and the same can be understood if we look at the way Balineni Srinivas Reddy spoke his heart out in front of the media.
For the unversed, Balineni is the only ex-MLA in YCP who is actively fighting the EVM battle. He filed a case with the High Court about recounting of the votes in the EVMs in his Ongole segment. This case is being argued in the court now.
However, as revealed by Balineni, he is getting no help from his own party in this EVM battle.
“While I am protesting against the EVMs and fighting the legal battle, there is no correspondence from my party. No one is even listening to my plight. I am being completely ignored by the party high command after the election. So I too have started to move away.” Balineni said.
